HOW MUCH DO SESSIONS COST?
Counseling fees are $120 per session, although a sliding scale fee may be available.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Credit cards are the easiest form of payment for your online counseling sessions. Although money orders and checks are also acceptable payments for sessions.
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
Insurance is not currently accepted as a form of payment but if your insurance accepts out-of-network claims, the appropriate documentation can be given to you. And while it is becoming less and less of an occurrence, there are still some insurance providers who will not cover sessions conducted via telehealth/online. So be sure to check with your provider about telehealth specifically if you plan to seek reimbursements.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
Length of counseling is very difficult to predict. Each client and his/her circumstances are different from the next. However, the goal in every counseling relationship is that clients reach their goals in a timely manner. And often 10 sessions or less can help you at least get a good foundation for developing your career concept and how to go about making confident career decisions.
HOW LONG DO SESSIONS LAST?
Most clients schedule 60 minute sessions, although longer and shorter sessions may at times be appropriate for your stage of career counseling.
HOW FREQUENT ARE SESSIONS
Career Counseling can have a different pace than general counseling. We may meet weekly at first when we’re working on Step 1 of the E210 method, but once we move on to Step 2, we may need more time between sessions for you to make the most of your counseling session.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
The office of E210 Counseling LLC is physically located in Austin, Texas but all client sessions are held online whether you are in the Austin area or not. So there is never any worry about getting across town during high traffic hours just pick the session time that fits your schedule the best and meet with me wherever works best for you.
HOW WILL WE MEET FOR SESSIONS?
E210 Counseling LLC sessions are conducted using Simple Practice, a highly secure, easy to use place to meet all of your counseling needs. For more information on your online counseling services check out the online counseling page.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
In the event that you will not be able to keep an appointment, please notify Alyssa 24 hours in advance by email or by calling 512-815-E210. Scheduled appointments that are missed without notification will cost the full session fee. If you arrive late for your session, we will use the time remaining but you will be charged the full rate.
WHAT IF I AM HAVING AN EMERGENCY?
E210 Counseling LLC is not for medical or mental emergencies. If you do find yourself in need of immediate help, please call 911.
IS E210 COUNSELING ONLY FOR CHRISTIANS?
Absolutely not. E210 Counseling LLC is open to all people, in all walks of life, and with all religious and spiritual backgrounds. However, E210 Counseling LLC is best suited for those who are at least interested in knowing more about God and how to have a relationship with Him.
WHAT IS A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR?
A licensed professional counselor (LPC) is an individual who has satisfied all the state requirements for licensure (i.e., supervised counseling experience, passing a state licensing exam). These individuals are called to abide by ethical standards deemed appropriate by the licensing boards.
